Lecture 1: Genetic diversity in our breeds; we have a project going on here in Finland and we will have the results by then. Lecturer: Dr. Leigh Anne Clark, USA

Lecture 2: Breeding with a small genepole; the future of collies. Lecturer: MSc Saija Tenhunen, Finland

Lecture 3: The intriguing blue merle; the science behind the colour. Lecturer: PhD Riitta Lindström, Finland.

Possibly lectures on DM, MDR1 and other genetic issues by Riitta Lindström also.

Panel discussion about our breeds; 
    Differences between AKC and FCI standards. 
    Future of our breeds.
    Plans for ICS

All lectures will be held in English. 

The hotel is Scandic Helsinki Aviacongress, located between the Helsinki-Vantaa Airport and the WDS Venue Helsinnki Exhibition Centre. There is a local train connection to the Venue and we will organize transportation if several people need one.
